Remembering Joe Walker, 1964-2011

It was a year yesterday since Joe died at the age of 47 after a short and brutal battle with cancer.

My reflections on Joe’s life are here. but the best reflection is his own writing on his superb blog, Felix Hominum.

God bless you, brother Joseph. Rest in peace and rise in glory.

  1. As it happens in church today we sang, “Praise to the Lord, the Almighty…” (Joachim Neander). If I remember correctly, it was also sung at his memorial service. He fought the good fight.

  2. Indeed. I remember that hymn well from the service; it was exactly the sort of thing Joe liked.
